Project Search
From the UC Health website:
The students participating in Project SEARCH are fully immersed at the UCHealth hospital in their area to learn job skills with the goal of securing competitive employment. Programs are currently available at University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus, Highlands Ranch Hospital, Greeley Hospital, Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs and Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.
Students can apply to UCHealth and if selected become a part of Project Search. During the following school year they meet down at the Memorial Administration Center Monday-Thursday. In the morning working on skills, then a 4 hour internship at UCHealth, then back to the room for wrap up. We connect students with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and during the spring semester help find them jobs in the community. The goal of Project Search is competitive employment at the end of the program.
