School Choice
In Colorado, all families may participate in School Choice, a process that allows students to apply to any K-12 Colorado school, no matter where they reside. If you’d like your student to attend an Academy District 20 school which is different than the one assigned to your student's address, or if your student lives outside of district boundaries, you will need to apply for School Choice. Preschool
Preschool introduces children to the structure, routine and focus of school, while also teaching them a variety of cognitive, social, emotional and language skills. Families in Colorado can receive up to 15 hours per week of free, voluntary preschool for 4-year-olds through the Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado program. Learn about registering for Preschool
