School Choice Transportation Basics
Families may bring their students to satellite bus stops at locations established throughout the district, generally at or near neighborhood elementary schools. Stops may change from year to year depending on student demographics. A stop within walking distance is not guaranteed, and School Choice bus stops are unsupervised.
School Choice bus service has been designed to work as efficiently as possible. However, students may experience one or more of the following:
• Ride times as long as 75 minutes each way
• Riders from various schools and mixed grade levels
• Transfer points (getting off one bus and onto another bus under the supervision of bus drivers)

District-provided transportation is not guaranteed for School Choice high school students. If there is open space on a pre-existing bus route, you can apply for bus service.
