Targets and Measures

  1. Literacy

    • Short Term Targets

      1. By January 2024, at least 74% of all 3rd grade students will score at or above grade-level benchmark.

      2. 50% of identified 4th grade cohort (157 students) will have met end-of-year targets:

        • move out of red/“well below” according to DIBELS-8

        • be 95% accurate on grade level text according to DIBELS-8 or

          • grade-level paragraph

          • cold read

          • untimed

        • score at or above grade-level benchmark

      3. Develop processes and systems in collaboration with Information Technology to collect baseline data and monitor data for the following.

    • Long Term Targets

      1. By May 2024, all 3rd grade students will achieve one of the following on DIBELS 8:

        • At least 85% will score at or above grade-level benchmark

        • Move out of red/“well below”

        • Read with 95% accuracy

      2. By the end of the 23-24 school year, each 4th grader who did not meet one of three targets (on level, 95% accurate, or moving out of “well below” according to DIBELS-8) at the end of their third-grade year (22-23 SY) will score within one of the following targets:

        • move out of red/“well below” according to DIBELS-8

        • be 95% accurate on grade level text according to DIBELS-8 or

          • grade-level paragraph

          • cold read

          • untimed

        • score at or above grade-level benchmark

      3. A minimum of 90% of 6th and 9th grade students will successfully pass their ELA courses.

    • Measures

      1. DIBELS 8

      2. DIBELS 8

      3. As evidenced by successful completion data collected using Infinite Campus and other tools and/or processes determined by Learning Services and IT.

  2. Math

    • Short Term Targets:

      1. By February 2024, students in grades K-10 will score an average achievement percentile of 61 or above on winter MAP Growth.

      2. Develop processes and systems in collaboration with Information Technology to collect baseline data and monitor data for the following: Percent of 6th and 9th grade students successfully passing their math courses by the end of the 2024-25 school year. (passing = D or higher)

      3. Learning Services and IT will work collaboratively to develop a data collection tool and process to gather evidence that a minimum of 90% of all students have passed Algebra I, by the end of the 9th grade year.

      4. Learning Services and IT will work collaboratively to develop a data collection tool and process to gather evidence regarding students on track to graduate by the end of the 9th grade year.

    • Long Term Targets:

      1. By May 2024, increase the number of students scoring a 500 or above on Math SAT by 5% (58% to 63%).

      2. A minimum of 90% of 6th and 9th grade students will successfully pass their math courses.

      3. A minimum of 90% of 9th grade students will have passed Algebra I by the end of their freshmen year.

      4. A minimum of 95% of students will be on track to graduate by the end of their freshmen year.

    • Measures:

      1. MAP Growth (NWEA) and SAT

      2. As evidenced by successful completion data collected using Infinite Campus and other tools and/or processes determined by Learning Services and IT.

      3. As evidenced by successful completion data collected using Infinite Campus and other tools and/or processes determined by Learning Services and IT.

      4. As evidenced by successful completion data collected using Infinite Campus and other tools and/or processes determined by Learning Services and IT.

  3. Special Education

    • Long Term Target - Students with Disabilities in grades 6-12 will demonstrate a 5% increase on IEP goal growth (approaching) and achievement (meets) as measured by progress monitoring on individual IEP goals by the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

    • Measures - Progress monitoring tools are selected based on the individualized goals of each student (i.e. Curriculum Based Measures (CBMs) AIMS Web, DIBELs, etc.)
