The Individualized Education Plan (IEP), is a legally binding written document for students who are three years of age and older and meet the qualifications for one or more specific disabilities in accordance with federal law.

The IEP is created by an IEP team, consisting of the student’s parents/guardians/family. The team must meet annually to discuss, review and revise the IEP. An IEP meeting can be scheduled anytime throughout the year.
