Primary Textbook Approval Process
According to Administrative Policy IIAC R 2, Academy D20 conducts a review of primary textbooks. The review is conducted by an Expert Panel of educators capable of evaluating the specific content of the materials. Community members are also able to review materials and provide input during a two-week window prior to the textbooks being presented to the Board of Education. Primary textbooks used in ASD20 are approved by the Board of Education.
