When TAG students reach high school, they are offered opportunities to enroll in more rigorous and accelerated classes, including Advanced Placement courses, honors classes and dual/secondary concurrent enrollment programs. Elective and extracurricular activities provide additional avenues for students with gifts and talents.

The TAG coordinator assists students in course selection that best meets their individual learning needs. College counselors also assist TAG students as they prepare for post secondary options. Student self-advocacy is encouraged and becomes increasingly important as goals for the future are decided.

Opportunities for TAG students in high school include, but are not limited to:

  • Dual Enrollment
  • Independent Studies
  • Poetry Contest
  • Single subject acceleration
