These centers are available 24/7 to schedule and perform mental health assessments. Walk-ins are always welcome. Programs are designed to provide crisis stabilization and help patients and families develop healthy coping skills.

COVID-19 supports

  • 211 Colorado is a confidential and multilingual service connecting people to vital resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. No matter where you live in Colorado, you can find information about resources, including food, housing, utilities, home repair, emergency sheltering, clothing, etc., in your local community. Meal resources

  • Care and Share is providing food across Southern Colorado. There are multiple pickup locations in El Paso county. Visit https://careandshare.org/findfood/

  • FoodPantries.org provides lists and locations of food pantries near you. Visit https://www.foodpantries.org/ci/co-colorado_springs

  • Salvation Army Food Pantry, 908 Yuma St, Colorado Spring CO (719)636-3891. Individuals and families can receive assistance with food from our pantry as well as other essential hygiene and infant items (as available). To receive this assistance, you must bring valid identification to our office. Food pantry hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Contact Sarah at 719-636-3891 or e-mail Sarah.Paxton@asw.salvationarmy.org.

  • Crossfire Ministries: 2120 E La Salle St., Colorado Springs, CO 80909 (719)447-1806.  Weekly Distribution of Food including bread and fresh produce. Grocery Department and Thrift Store Hours – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Bring your own bags and boxes. Guests will be screened for symptoms and asked to use hand sanitizer before entering the building. 1 family member allowed in the building. Please leave children at home in the care of someone or bring someone to watch your children while you are inside. Please shop in the thrift store first and then the grocery store. Limited number of guests will be allowed to shop at a time.  Must fill out an initial application with identification for each family member (SS card, driver’s license from any country, immunization records, student id). Must also bring proof of residence – lease, contract, or can be any bill or piece of mail. You only need to register one time.

  • Mercy’s Gate:  4360 Montebello Drive #300, Colorado Springs, 80918 (719)277-7470.  Food pantry pre-packed boxes are available first come first serve during session times. No limit to how many times you can access the food pantry. Open Mondays 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Wednesdays 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursdays 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.  Bring proof of residence and photo id.  Assistance is also available for utilities, clothing and household items, transportation, and rent and mortgage assistance. You must make an appointment to receive assistance for these items. Go to https://mercysgatecs.org/appointments to reserve an appointment online.

  • High Plains Helping Hands Fresh Start Center: 7375 Adventure Way, Colorado Springs, 80923 (719)495-3123. Every other week distribution of food. 2 week supply. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. First and third Wednesdays from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Must live in zip code 80106, 80808, 80818, 80821, 80828, 80830-33, 80835, 80864, 80908, 80922, 80923, 80924, 80930, 80864, 80920, 80928.  Fill out an initial application. Bring id and proof of residence. Remain in your vehicle when you arrive. Call (719)495-3123 and give your name. Volunteers will bring the food to your vehicle.

  • Springs Rescue Mission Monthly Meal Boxes:  1 W Las Vegas St. Colorado Springs, CO 80903 (719)632-1822. Monthly meal boxes assist struggling families or individuals who have fallen on hard times and need assistance. Pick up a box twice a month. During holidays a special meal box is prepared. Service Hours – Homeless – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11a.m. – 12 p.m. Not Homeless – Monday – Thursday from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Yearly registration required – picture ID and proof of residence (lease, utility bill, or cable bill).

  • Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs – 14 W. Bijou St., Colorado Springs, CO (719 475-7314. Emergency/Essential Services and the Marian House Soup Kitchen. Meal service is offered Monday through Saturday for lunch from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and breakfast on Sunday from 8:45 – 10:00 a.m. Emergency/Essential Services includes a range of resources to help people undergoing hardship, including emergency food, baby supplies, utility assistance, clothing, furniture, etc. Visit their website at http://www.ccharitiescc.org for more information on clothing, utilities, and basic necessities assistance.

  • Trinity Church of the Nazarene Food Distribution: 5055 El Camino Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918 – Just to the east of the Big Lots on Academy and Union. Fourth Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Food and Clothing Distribution in the gym of the church. Please wear a mask. Only a certain number of people will be allowed in at a time. No ID’s or application required.

  • Open Arms Food Pantry Monthly Food Distribution: Where: Church for All Nations – 6540 Templeton Gap Rd. Colorado Springs, CO 80923. (719)591-1800,  office@churchforallnations.com. Saturday, November 21st; Saturday, December 12th 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Proof of El Paso Country address and current ID required. Food Distribution is a drive through. Please follow signage in the parking lot when you arrive. Please stay in your vehicle.

  • Faith Works Pantry:  4510 Edison Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80915.  2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. No paperwork required.
