Students being served through the Resource program usually need some help with academics and/or speech/language support. Some students are served in a pull-out model and others are fully included in the classroom with the special education teacher and general education teacher collaborating to meet the student’s needs.
Preschool programs in District 20 serve children ages 3 – 5 with special needs in an integrated setting. Preschool teachers possess certification as Master’s level Early Childhood Special Educators.
