Election Information

Board Director Election occurs every two years. Each director occupies a seat for four years. This year, Academy District 20 will have three seats open for election. Two of these seats are being vacated by directors who are term limited and one seat is being vacated by a director who has chosen not to run for a second term.

Voting

  • Register to vote.
  • Ballots will be mailed to military personnel and overseas voters on September 22, 2017.
  • Ballots will be mailed to local, active voters on October 16, 2017.
  • Ballots must be received no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, except for military and overseas ballots. Military and overseas ballots are due no later than the 8th day after Election Day.
  • Mail ballot drop-off locations will be open starting October 16, 2017 until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
