Village Middle School, Village High School, Home School Academy, and preschool programs do not participate in the two-hour late start.

Professional Learning Community (PLC) days provide our staff with protected time to collaborate, align curriculum, develop assessments, and review student data. Please get in touch with your student’s school with any questions.

School Meals

District-provided breakfast will not be served on PLC days.

Transportation on PLC Days

Students utilizing district transportation will be picked up two hours later than their normal schedule. However, there are some exceptions:

  • College & Career programs at Liberty High School (LHS):

    • Construction and Auto programs will be bused to LHS on a two-hour delay. 

    • Nursing and EMT programs will not be bused to these programs (students will need alternate transportation.) However, these students will be bused back. 

  • College & Career programs offered through Pikes Peak State College (PPSC) or the International Salon and Spa Academy (ISSA) will not be bused to these programs (students will need to have alternate transportation.) However, these students will be bused back. 

  • Roundup Fellowship, Pikes Peak BOCES School of Excellence (SOE), Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind (CSDB), and Emily Griffith Center (EGC) programs will be bused on a two-hour delay.

  • Preschool, Bridges, and JROTC students do not attend these programs on PLC days. 

  • All other programs will run on a two-hour delay.
