  • Who Can Vote: Registered voters who are residents of Academy District 20

Notices of Intent

To become a candidate for the ASD20 BOE, individuals completed a “Notice of Intent.” Starting on August 9, 2023, prospective candidates could pick up a petition from the Education and Administration Center (EAC) to start the process. Each prospective candidate had to collect a minimum of 50 signatures from registered voters who live in the Academy District 20 boundaries. Most people collect much more than 50, because all signatures are verified by the district’s Designated Election Official (DEO) to confirm the signer is a registered voter and lives in the district boundaries. Any signatures that could not be verified were invalidated.

A Candidate Forum is scheduled to provide the ASD20 community with an opportunity to meet candidates and to ask questions of the candidates.

  • Rampart High School - Auditorium, 8250 Lexington Drive

  • 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • Although registration is not required, we kindly ask that those interested in attending please complete our online registration form so we can ensure adequate seating.

Voting

  • Register to vote

  • Ballots must be received no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Postmarks do not count.

  • The county’s mail ballot drop-off locations will soon be designated. These drop-off locations are open 24 hours.
