Mission
Statement
The Mission of the School in the Woods, dedicated to the study
of natural sciences, is to inspire a small group of fourth
grade students in the pursuit of lifelong learning through
direct interaction with living systems, integrated into an
academically challenging curriculum in a safe environment.
Our naturalists will share their deep appreciation of the
natural world with the larger community.
